Countries
1. Greece - always, always, always have wanted to go to Greece. Also, this is where we're meeting up with the rest of my Bell family, which makes it EXTRA exciting!
2. Thailand - hopefully I will find my mom hiding under a rock here :-)
3. South Africa
4. New Zealand
5. Italy
It's really hard to make a list of any sort for which countries I am most excited about seeing because I am really excited about seeing them all!
Cities
1. Paris - Jeff still hasn't let me forget the time he wanted to fly me out to meet him for the weekend and I said I couldn't go. I had just started teaching! I can't wait to experience the most romantic city in the world with my favorite guy (all together now: awwwwwwwwww!)
2. Rome - I studied Latin in high school and cannot wait to visit the places I learned so much about!
3. Mykonos
4. Split - I am very excited to get to experience Croatia with Jeff, my mom, and Lee :-)
5. Florence
I was going to put Hanoi on here, but I thought Jeff had said we weren't going to be able to go and he forbid from changing my list once I heard his. He's so mean!
Attractions: Man-made Division
1. Easter Island Statues - I mean, who gets to say they've seen the Easter Island statues?
2. Santa Lucia Hotel - thanks Nan and Mark!
3. Aix-en-Provence
4. Sistine Chapel
5. Eiffel Tower
Again, Jeff said I could not change my list once I heard his, but I totally forgot to include Petra, which is one place I am most excited about seeing. I was watching Criminal Minds while I was doing my list and got a bit distracted.
Attractions: Nature Division
1. Great Barrier Reef
2. Moorea
4. The Grand Traverse
5. Patagonia
I also had some attractions that I really didn't feel fit totally into either of the divisions:
There are my lists! Now I have to get back to packing. In one week we will be landing in Ecuador and I'm afraid it is going to take me the entire remaining time to get my bags set!

I also had some attractions that I really didn't feel fit totally into either of the divisions:
- Phinda Resource Reserve - really any reserve in South Africa. I just really want to go on safari!
- Beaches of Normandy - A great lover of history, I cannot wait to see where D-Day took place
- Pompeii - Again, Latin student, really want to see the cool ruins!
- Cinqueterre - Love the postcard Rachel sent our parents and have wanted to go ever since :-)
- Thai massage - does that really need explanation?

Make sure in Mykonos you stand by the Wind Mills at Sunset! One of the finest vistas I have ever seen in my life.
ReplyDeleteYay, you have listed Greece as a place to visit and happy to be with us. You are my favorite now! :)

ReplyDeleteLove the pictures with your comments & was smiling while reading each one. Never lose that adorable sense of humor. I am sure Jeff knows how very llucky he is. Ted & I are so happy for you and Jeff!!!
I can see how the reserve doesn't fit into either categories because it is both natural and man altered, in a way. Pompeii could/should technically go under your cities category, but considering that it is partially buried I'll give you some credit (Because therefore wouldn't it technically be a man-made attraction?) Cinque Terre I guess is both as well, but you lose points for not spelling it correctly. However, beaches of Normandy would definitely go under natural attractions. Thai massage is the only one that definitely doesn't fall into any categories, I'll give you that. However, I conclude that you cheated by adding your extra attractions because 80% of them go under different, previously state, categories.
