More on Hokitika Gorge

For the first time on this website, I'm posting a video.  We'll try to this more going forward if we get video of interesting things, but for this first time, I'm just trying to break the ice.  We took this video of the Hokitika Gorge because of the bird calls, which you can still hear, but don't sound as pretty as they did in person.

Reminds us of Turkey farm road when we wake up in the morning, actually this morning sounded similar.
    Nice touch adding the video.
    Loved it.

  2. Oh my goodness that is so invigorating a sound and sight. I heard many birds chirping here in Nashville early this morning but I can't boast about the luxuriant scenery. I agee with Marcia & Lee that adding the video to provide an authentic rendition of the birds' songs and scenery was a nice touch.

  4. What kind of birds are these calls coming from? They sure beat my owl whistle!
