False Bay

Here are some pictures from our recent day trip to the False Bay side (east side) of the Cape Peninsula.  We took the commuter train, which hugs the water's edge once it reaches the bay, down to Kalk Bay.  After I indulged Magge in browsing a few of the small town's boutiques, we walked two miles up the coast to Muizenberg to catch the train back to our house.  Just another beautiful side of Cape Town.

  2. What colorful cabanas! Did you happen to bring your swimsuit? Everything looks so clean and crisp.

Is the bay on the west side called True Bay? :)

I couldn't agree more with Marcia that it is sad to leave Cape Town but heck the next adventure is home where you will be greeted with smiles, hugs, kisses and so much more.

  3. The water is freezing. Getting my feet wet was enough.

It's called False Bay began sailors often mistook it for Table Bay, where Cape Town's city center is located.
