Happy Birthday, Kiersten

Happy 14th to my little sister.  We had to wake up at 3:45am and brave sub-freezing temperatures to get these pictures.  Our hardship is her birthday gift.
These say "Happy Birthday" in Aymara (I think).  Aymara isn't as widely spoken in Chile as it is in Peru, but we have already done one birthday sign in Spanish.

  1. Awwwww :) Thank you so much. This means so much to me. This is the best birhday gift I have gotten. I don't know anyone (besides you two) who would treck out in th geysurs at 3:45 A.M. for their little sister. Thank you so much :'). This has a great sedimenta value to me. I will print it out and put it up in my room, so I can look at it everyday. It will always put a smile on my face. Thank you so much Jeffrey and Magge. I love you two! <3

  2. That's the best birthday gift you could have given Kiersten. Thanks so much for thinking of her so early in the morning. This personalized birthday card is truly memorable!
Magge - you are getting a lot of usage out of these coloring crayons. I am pretty sure you will be needing a new set soon. Have you asked your Mom to bring you more when you meet in Santiago next month?
Super pictures of both of you. xo

  6. How about an exchange Marcia? You give the pencils to Magge and Jeffrey and they give you that personalized card for Kiersten. I would really like to get it framed for her room. Those two pictures above have been printed on photo paper, laminated and up on her wall. The actual card would add an even more personal touch. Kiersten loves the idea. Would you mind Marcia bringing it back? No pressure.

  7. Thank you so much Mr. Lee and Ms.Marcia. You're warm words have warmed me up from the warm weather ;). Yes, I would LOVE to have that card framed in my room, above my bed. I'm glad I impacted the wedding in some way. :D I hope I get to see you sometime soon.

  9. Sure, we will be happy to bring the card home, Mags can you save it for us? Maybe leave it in Vina with Rach so you don't have to take it to Patagonia, then we can get it, bring it to the States and get it to Kiersten

  10. Kiersten - Hope yesterday was great! I was a little worried that it was just look like a jumble of letters in Aymara, but we didn´t want to do Feliz Cumpleaños again. So glad you like it!
Lucie - 60% off coupon for Michaels was sent to my mother and new pencils were procured!
I think I still have the card - yesterday is a bit hazy for me. Just to warn you though, I did accidentally rip it a little while I was coloring it :-( so it´s not in perfect condition. We´ll bring it down though!

  12. Magge - I hope your Mom is bringing more than a dozen pencils. Even abroad you still look for Michaels' coupon?! These signs are becoming a big hit and is taking a life of its own. You can send Italian birthday wishes to Colin on his birthday!

    Thanks Marcia for your help!

  14. Don´t worry Colin, Í´ll make you a super great poster for your birthday.
I have developed an absolute coupon addiction. I was taking coupons to Michaels so often in the months leading up to the wedding (almost every day) that it has become a hard-to-break habit. The pencils I like (of course) are expensive too, so a 60% off coupon is necessary with them!

  15. What kind of pencils do you like? I am guessing you are not using Crayola! :-D I will keep my eyes peel for coupons as well.
You will be in Italy for Colin's and Mike's birthday. It will be interesting to see the variety of signs you can come up with. Michaelangelo and da Vinci should be impressed from where they are looking. This trip offers not only a physical workout but a mental one as well. Think, think, think that's all you do as the monk in the Caramel commercial used to say.
